Bathroom Renovations Sydney
The bathroom is often the first room we step into after we wake in the morning. And often the place where we unwind at the end of the day. A hot shower in a private space is something many of us appreciate. Having an attractive looking bathroom is part of this experience.
Nobody likes a messy, gloomy bathroom. Even if the facilities all work well a bad decor will dampen the experience. There is a sense or refreshment that comes from a well organized, well planned, clean bathroom. It is worth putting some effort into our bathroom to achieve this relaxing experience at the end of the day.
Floors
It is difficult to change the floor of a bathroom. Bathrooms almost always have tiled floors, and short to putting down new tiles there is little we can do to change the floor itself. But we can add a bathmat to change the decor, which also provides a soft surface underfoot. and if the tiled floor is acceptable we can change the rest of the room decor to match.
Walls
Bathroom walls are a mixture of tiles and painted surfaces. These are not too difficult to alter. Walls are reasonably easy to repaint. We recommend gloss paint which handles the moisture inherent in bathroom. though some modern eggshell paint is also good in this regard. to complement the paintwork we suggest adhesive tiles.
Adhesive Bathroom Tiles Sydney
Adhesive tiles are relatively inexpensive and very easy to install. They adhere to most surfaces, including traditional tiles.
Adding some adhesive tile so complement the paintwork is enough to transform the look of a bathroom.
Mirrors and Light
Bathrooms are often on the small side. So we recommend adding a feeling of space with at least one mirrored surface and some bright lighting. Find some light-globes that give daylight colour, or perhaps a candlelight effect if that suits the decor. A few light can do both at the flick of a switch. Translucent curtains on the windows can provide privacy while allowing a moderate amount of light in during the day. Match the curtains to the rest of the decor.
Avoid light that is concentrated at one point. The light should be spread throughout the room.
Stick on Bathroom Tiles
